Also on the blade is the mark of Solingen (?). The cup is decorated with a perforated, engraved floral ornament. Writhen quillons, knuckle-guard, and pommel, the original grip with fine wire binding. The pommel of the rapier is made of steel and decorated with magnificent decor. Balance is perfect. A wonderful item in good condition.
