Lot 417:
Ottoman flintlock pistol, circa 1800. Barrel steel round with engraved and brass inlays. The lock plate is decorated with engraving. The stock is wooden with remnants of black paint. The pommel of the handle and other details of the fastenings are made of bronze and decorated with very high-quality engraving. The end of the barrel and the stock are fixed together with a silver sleeve. The ramrod is made of wood. A very good example of Ottoman weapon art. Mid 19th cen.

Condition: Good with monor chips to the stock.
