ANTIQUE ARMS, ARMOR AND MILITARY DECORATIONS
Lot 437:
A 19th-century bronze "Shouting Horseman" after Andrea Riccio (c. 1470-1532), Padua, Italy. The rider wears Roman armor and with his head turned to dexter; the horse is pacing. The casting is in greenish black patina and reddish highlights. The base is bronze-cast with two different relief panels on each side and rams head masks on either end.
Dimensions: H: 18 in., (46 cm.)
Condition: Overall good condition. Nice partina and expected signes of wear. Tail has a small crack.
