ANTIQUE ARMS, ARMOR AND MILITARY DECORATIONS
Lot 76:
A pair of 19th-century Spanish military Epaulettes. The construction is of hand-hammered gilt-brass backed by maroon-color velour. The epaulets are embellished with gilded laurel leaves and intricate crested buttons. It features an ornate overlaid silver monogram surmounted by a crown right. The epaulets have brass hinged arms on the back. Original carton board case.
Dimensions: L: 5 1/8 in., (13 cm.)
Condition: The brass parts of the shoulder borads are nicely patinated, the box lid id torn, minor signs of wear to the red velvet on the back of the epaulets, otherwise very good.
