A pair of French gilt-bronze mounted white marble cassolettes in the style of Louis XVI. Each features a reversible lid with berried finial and candle nozzle to the underside, while the body is raised on satyr-mask-headed tripod supports and ending in hoof feet, connected by foliate swags, raised on a carved base. Mid-late 19th century.
