Sculpture depicting Hebe, the Greek goddess of youth or the prime of life. Hebe was the cupbearer for the gods and goddesses of Mount Olympus, serving their nectar and ambrosia until she married Heracles. The sculpture is hand-carved of white marble after the model by Bertel Thorvaldsen (1770-1844). Raised on a red marble plinth.
Dimensions: H: 33 1/4 in., (85 cm.)
Condition: Good overall expected signs of wear and age.
