Lot 51:
Set of twelve porcelain dinner plates, Kornilov Brothers Porcelain Factory for Tiffany & Co., St Petersburg, 1900-1917. The borders are decorated with pan-Slavic motifs in blue, red, pale yellow and green, probably after the designs by Ivan Galnbek (1855 – 1934). Marked on reverse with transfer printed factory mark and inscription ‘J.H.V., Made in Russia by Kornilow Bros., inscribed with a pattern number ’99.’
Dimensions: Saucer D: 5 1/2 in., ( 13.2 cm. ) Bread Plate D: 6 1/4 in., ( 15.85 cm. ) Salad Plate D: 8 1/8 in., ( 20.65 cm. ) Dinner Plate D: 9 1/2 in., ( 24.15 cm. )
Condition: Very good, no cracks or chips.
