An early 19th-century percussion pistol made by Mutzig, German. Smoothbore, the stock is of walnut, and the furniture is of polished brass. Good action.Footnote: Julien Coulaux is an entrepreneur on behalf of his brother who created Mutzig’s Firearms Manufactory in 1803. In 1840, Charles Louis Coulaux took over the factories of Klingenthal, Molsheim, Mutzig and Gresswiller, which took the name "Coulaux". and Company".
