Indo-Persian chased and gilt decorated bronze alloy Dhal shield of convex form with four domed bosses decorated with gold koftgari work. The surface is finely engraved with cartouches featuring Arabic inscriptions and floral motifs and inlaid with gold and silver. The reverse is fitted with four rings and red velvet lining.19th century.
