Persian char-aina armor body steel plate decorated with an intricate traditional gold koftgari inlay. Char-aina armor features four hinged plates to protect the chest, back and sides of the wearer. Presumably made by the Lahore workshop circa 1820.
Dimensions: 9 3/4 x 7 3/4 in., (25 x 20 cm.)
Condition: Very good, gilding has been partially lost.
