Lot 322:
An Indian push dagger (katar). 18th/19th century. The blade is pointy with a central ridge and reinforced tip for armor-piercing. The handle of characteristic form is extensively inlaid with gold koftgari. The scabbard is covered with red and yellow fabric, and in the lower part of the scabbard is mounted in silver tip decorated with chasing.
Dimensions: L: 16 1/2 in., (42 cm.)
Condition: Very good, scabbard chape is slightly deformed.
