A rare Japanese named sword. This sword was named by a Samurai – Hana Arashi, "Flower Tempest."Circa 1600 A.D. Samurai blade was re-mounted during WWII for a Japanese Army Officer. Nagasa (length: 22 1/8 in., 56.5 cm.) in polish with hamon and visible hada, koshirae in shin-gunto mounts complete with brass tsuba, fuchi, kashira, engraved brass menuki and brown silk tsuka.
