A U-Boat front clasp, bronze grade made by Schwerin. Constructed of bronzed zinc, the obverse consists of an oval laurel wreath, joined together by crossed swords and topped by a Kriegsmarine-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, overlaid by a raised U-Boat on a hollow background, flanked on each side by six oak leaves, the reverse with a barrel hinge and banjo-style pinback meeting a round wire catch, maker marked "AUSF. SCHWERIN BERLIN" and designer marked "ENTWURF PEEKHAUS".
