AUCTION 37 ANTIQUE ARMS AND ARMOR
Lot 78:
Rare European, possibly German or Dutch, priming/powder flask, ca. 1580-1610. Cloth-covered wooden body with the edges secured with iron fittings, front iron plate depicts a cut-out engraved standing knight in full armor with a sword. The spring lock is in full functioning condition. A metal chain is attached to four side steel rings.
Dimensions: 8 1/2 x 7 1/4 in., (21.5 x 18.5 cm.)
Condition: Good, with hole on the back and slight damage to the base.
