With a very fine Damascus steel large blade with one wide fuller on each side, yalman at the tip, and a gold inscription in Arabic at the forte. The hilt is composed of two carved scales held to the tang by three rivets. The cross guard is cast of silver decorated with engraving and set with rubies and turquoise. The scabbard is covered with black shagreen leather, the mounts are made of silver embellished with engraving.The blade dates to the 17th century, the mounts are of the 19th century.

Condition: Very good overall, the grip scales have minor cracks.
