A set of nine engravings by M. I. Mavaev depicting the coronation of Catherine the Great, 1783. The engravings were made for an album describing the coronation of Her Most Blessed Majesty the Most Blessed Most Sovereign Great Empress Catherine II, the Autocrat of All Russia, mother, and deliverer of the fatherland; The entrance on the 13th and the coronation of 22nd of September 1762. Nine engravings are based on the drawings by Makhaeva and Deweyli. Circulation 20-25 copies. Printed not for sale. First edition.
