A pair of hand-painted porcelain chinoiserie vases. The vases are decorated with floral motifs and a stylized image of the pagoda. The mural in the central part depicts Chinese children in elegant costumes playing with exotic birds. Detailed parts of the ornament, pedestal and two elongated handles along the edges of the vases are covered with gilding.Incised mark on the verso and underglaze makings.
Dimensions: H: 11 1/2 in., (32 cm.)
Condition: No hairlines, chips or cracks.
