This straight officer’s sword is based on one of the many variations of the German Infantry Officer’s sword M1889. The hilt is cast of brass with a ribbed grip. The pommel is engraved with the cipher of Wilhelm II and used as a personal seal. The scabbard is made of chrome-plated metal, it is equipped with a loose suspension ring.This type of sword was used by officers, NCOs of infantry, jaegers, engineers and pioneers corps from 1889 till 1915.

Condition: Very good with minor signs of wear.
