Anti-Semitic illustrated children’s book published by Stürmer Verlag, Nürnberg, 1936, titled in German "Trau keinem Fuchs auf gruner Heid und keinem Jud bei seinem Eid, " the literal translation of the title is: "Don’t Trust a Fox in a Green Meadow, Nor a Jew at His Word." The book portrays Jews as evil manipulative creatures, as opposed to the idealized Aryan Germans. Illustrated with 21 chromolithographic illustrations by Elvira Bauer and calligraphic text in colors. Some hand-inscribed notes.
Dimensions: 10 x 8 in., (25.5 x 20 cm.)
Condition: Very good with minor signs of wear.
