Oil on panel painting depicting a view on a Hitler’s house placed in front of Salzburger Vorstadt 15, Braunau. Inscribed verso: "Adolf Hitler Birthplace – Painted by Lilly in 1935, #15 Salzburger, Vorstadt Street, April 20, 18889 – City of Braunau, Austria. A. Hitler, Building where he was born, building on left, with h. balcony, 2nd floor. Signed by artist named (Lilly) in 1936. Painted on site by artist. Hung at Hitler’s office in Berlin. Brought back by a G.I. as a war trophy. Put John Shaminsky from Scranton Penna. original frame. Adolf Hitler – used to hang it at the Eagles nest + brought it back to Berlin, he himself hung it on the wall himself – he touched it. Adolf Hitlers place of birth – 100% real. Signed in lower left Lilly. Painted in 1936."

Condition: Good with some paint loss.
