Elegant French silver-mounted hunting dagger bearing a tapering steel blade and an octagonal hilt hand-carved of natural agate. The blade is decorated with engraved motifs depicting ornaments, war trophies, a running deer on one side and a wild boar on the other.Late 18th century.

Dimensions: L: 19 1/2 in., (49.5 cm.)

Condition: Very good, scabbard is missing.
