A Russian Imperial officer badge of the Orenburg Cossacks which was a part of the Cossack population in pre-revolutionary Russia, located in the Orenburg Province. The multi-layer construction of a gilt-silver coat of arms of the Orenburg province is framed with a blue enamel ribbon with the date 1574 below. The coat of arms is surmounted by a cossack hat.Hallmarks: 84, kokoshnik.
