Rare issue of the early 20th-century Imperial Russian provincial newspaper, ‘Iskorki’ (The Sparkles), No. 31. The title page features a black and white photograph of a group of boys dressed as sailors.It was published from 1907 to 1914 in Staraya Russa, a district town of the Novgorod province. The headline read: political and literary newspaper. Organ non-partisan. The editor-publisher was the owner of the old Russian printing house Nikolai Georgievich Osipov. The issues contain various headings, photos and illustrations.
Dimensions: 16 1/4 x 11 3/4 in., (41.5 x 30 cm.)
Condition: Good overall, there are small rips and wrinkles along the edges and corners.
