Dmitri Plavinsky, a print depicting fern and various weeds, 1970. Signed by the author lower right. Additionally signed and dated on the mat "Plavinsky 70". Numbered 5 out of 30 lower left. Inscribed on the verso "Dmitri Plavinsky. Rare print". Matted and housed in a wooden frame. Dmitri Plavinsky (1937-2012) was a Russian painter known as one of the founders and leaders of the nonconformist movement in Russian art.His work is currently displayed at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Museum of Modern Art in New York, in The State Russian Museum in St. Petersburg and other major museums galleries in Russia and Europe.
Dimensions: 7 7/8 x 12 in., (20 x 30.5 cm.)
Condition: Good overall, there are some wrinkles, and water stains.
