Edmund Fitzpatrick (Irish, 19th-century), oil on canvas painting depicting a young nude female with a jug in a forest landscape. Housed in a richly decorated gilt wood and gesso frame. Inscribed on the verso: Dennis. The frame has an attached metal plaque that reads: "E. Fitzpatrick A.R.H.A. 1861. A.R.H.A. is an abbreviation for Associate of the Royal Hibernian Academy. The Royal Hibernian Academy is an artist-based and artist-oriented institution in Ireland, founded in Dublin in 1823.
Dimensions: 18 x 14 in., (46 x 35.5 cm.)
Condition: Good, no apparent signs of restoration.
