Russian Orthodox icon of Christ Pantocrator, the Lord Almighty, or Savior Jesus Christ hand-painted in egg tempera and gesso on wood panel. Features a gilt silver oklad, the vestments are chased and repousse, the halo and the borders are decorated in polychrome cloisonne enamel, the plaque and the pages of Testament are made in blue champleve enamel. Presented in the original fitted wood box retailed by I. Morozov. The oklad is struck with I. Morozov retailer’s mark, Cyrillic maker’s mark "IP, " 88 Imperial silver standard. The halo is marked with Cyrillic initials "SG, " probably for Semen Galkin, Moscow, 1899-1908, kokoshnik and 84 silver standard. Cira 1899 – 1904.
