Robert Falk, a pencil and ink on paper drawing depicting a portrait of a man. Titled by the author lower left "Takhtar". Signed and dated by the author on the verso "R.R. Falk, 1940".Robert Rafailovich Falk (1886-1958) was a Soviet, Russian and French painter of Jewish origin who uniquely combined the paths of Russian Modern and Avant-Garde in his artwork; one of the most famous artists of the Jewish theater in Yiddish.
Dimensions: 13 1/2 X 11 in., (34.5 x 28 cm.)
Condition: Very good, a small tear that has been repaired on the right edge.
