A WW2 Iron Cross 1st Class "Demjansk 1943" inscribed. The "Demjansk" Iron Cross was reinstituted by Hitler on September 1, 1939. The First Class Cross was issued to the personnel who performed three to five acts of bravery in combat and had already been awarded the Iron Cross Second Class. The cross is a three-piece construction.
