A Soviet bronze medal the "Order of Nakhimov". 14,020 were issued from 1944-1994. On the obverse, there is a relief image of Admiral Nakhimov in profile with the Cyrillic inscription ‘Admiral Nakhimov’ above. On the reverse, there is a convex image of a sailing ship, framed by a ring of a cable superimposed on two crossed anchors. Suspension devise with blue-white ribbon. Numbered ‘1782’ to the rim. Normally an award for Naval Officers.
