Imperial Russian HIM Garde Du Corps helmet, reign of Nicholas II. The skull, front peak, and lobster tail are of polished brass. The helmet finial is a double-headed Russian Imperial eagle. The cocarde is a silvered star with a blue enamel circle in the center with a Cyrillic motto: "For Faith and Loyalty" with the Imperial Order of St. Andrew at the center. The chin strap scales are leather-backed and are fixed to the helmet by a plai brass cocarde on one side and a Russian national colors cocarde on the other. The liner could have been restored.
H: 15 in., (39 cm.)
Condition: Good with some restoration.
