The visor cap of the Waffen-SS is field-grey. The yellow piping was used for Cavalry/Reconnaissance (1942-1945). The cap features a black velvet cap band. The visor is made of Vulkanfiber, which was lacquered on the top. The internal side of the visor features a finely cross-hatched pattern. The stamp on the interior is hard to read. The sweatband is made of leather (greenish-brown) and shows multiple tears. The insignis is intact. There is no visible damage to the fabric.
