Russian Orthodox icon depicting Jesus Christ the Pantocrator overlaid with a silver-gilt riza with chased and repousse work in a wooden kiot. Hallmarks: maker’s mark ‘FS’ in Cyrillic, assay mark ‘AC’ beneath the date 1864, 84 Russian silver standard, Moscow city mark. Moscow, 1864.
Dimensions: 8 1/2 x 6 3/4 in., (21.5 x 17 cm.)
Condition: The icon is in good condition overall. Rubbing to gilding and minor scratching to the icon consistent with age. Minor damages and some wear to the wooden kiot.
