Attributed to Igor Grabar (Russian, 1871-1960), oil on panel painting ‘Fresh Snow’ depicting a winter landscape with a stream and a village in the distance. Signed and dated lower right. Housed in a richly decorated gilt wood and gesso frame, inscribed on verso. Footnote: Igor Emmanuilovich Grabar is a Russian Post Impressionist painter, publisher, restorer, and historian of art. He was trained as a painter by Ilya Repin in Saint Petersburg and by Anton Azbe in Munich. He reached his peak in painting in the 1900s and was notable for a peculiar divisionist painting technique bordering on pointillism.

Condition: Good with a nice craqueliure.
