Delicately painted Meissen porcelain figurine of a woman dressed in an Oriental gown playing a flute. The figurine was modelled by Paul Scheurich (1883-1945) in 1926. Marked underglaze with Meissen blue crossed swords. Paul Scheurich was a German painter, sculptor and graphic designer. From 1918 to 1936, he created a series of exceptional designs for Meissen Porcelain Factory. Scheurich is considered one of the most prominent porcelain sculptors of the first half of 20th century.

Condition: The figure appears to be in very good condition. Nothing to note.
