A Russian silver-gilt tea cup nielloed with a roundel of a horseman in a rural landscape within foliate ornaments, scrolling handle decorated with acanthus leaves and flowers.
Hallmarks: illegible maker’s mark, 84 Russian silver standard, 1883.
Weight: 8.1 oz., (230 g.)
H: 5 1/8 in., (13 cm.)
Condition: Very good overall condition. Minor wear associated with age, minor scratches and guiding losses to the interior. Niello and engraving are in very good condition.
