Pavel Ovchinnikov, 1899 – 1908
Russian Orthodox silver-gilt kovsh decorated with geometrical pattern ornament along the top rim and spout, also featuring a wide flat handle decorated with a Russian orthodox cross. Hallmarks: ‘P. Ovchinnikov’ in Cyrillic beneath the Imperial Warrant, 84 Russian silver standard with a kokoshnik mark.
Weight: 3.2 oz., (90 g.)
L: 5 1/4 in., (13.3 cm.)
Condition: Good overall condition. Some scratching and signs of wear and use associated with age.
