AUCTION 43: ANTIQUE ARMS AND ARMOR
Lot 126:
A remarkably preserved Ottoman chainmail shirt from the 17th century. The chain links have a light patina and still articulate well. Leather fasteners and cloth padding are present around the neck but could be later additions.
Condition: Very good for its age. Vast majority of links still intact and free of rust. Cloth at back of neck is age-worn but intact.
