Lot 147:
A large enameled gilt-copper vase Kashmir, north India, 19th century. Of baluster shape, on a short circular foot, with a tapering neck and splayed mouth, decorated with overall interlocking foliage scrolls and roundels of vegetal sprays on turquoise and blue enamel grounds. The handles are cast as mythological sea creatures with lions on the top.
H: 20 1/2 in., (52 cm.)
Condition: Very good overall, no damage to enamel, one small dent on the shoulder.
