19th-century Ottoman Empire (Turkey) gilt-silver belt buckle consisting of two detachable parts, the central section in the form of a trefoil flanked by two further horizontal sections, all similarly decorated with fine filigree floral and vegetal decorations and set with cabochon-cut gemstones. Features tughra marks on the verso.
L: 6 3/4 in., (17.2 cm.)
Condition: Very good, the enamel appers to be in excellent condition.
