Agostino Marazzani is a highly detailed bronze sculpture of an Arab hunter on horseback holding a rifle. The artist signed and dated it on the side "1895 Marazzani". The sculptural group is sitting on a red marble base.
Lodovico Agostino Marazzani-Visconti (1853-1914) was an Italian sculptor who worked mainly in Peru. He is mostly known for his work on the War of the Pacific.
H: 16 inches., (40.8 cm.)
The base: 16 x 4 1/2 inches., (40.8 x 11 cm.)
Condition: Excellent with a very nice bronze patina.
