This Nazi German K98 Dress Bayonet is in fantastic shape. The scabbard and the leather frog both exhibit signs of wear consistent with use and age, but the blade is in near mint condition. The blade has a beautiful engraving showing German soldiers and military equipment, as well as the text ‘Zur Erinnerung an Meine Dienstzeit’ meaning ‘As a Reminder of My Time in Service’. The maker’s mark attributes this dagger to F.W. Holler of Solingen, and shows their trademark vertical thermometer logo.
L: 13 3/4 in., (35 cm.)
Condition: Very good condition overall, with minor signs of wear to the scabbard (paint loss) and wear to the leather frog.
