Lot 195:
A rare German, ca. 1880, hunting dagger made for a boy. The dagger has a staghorn handle with a steel pommel, while the clamshell guard and quillons are made of iron. The blade tapers and has a central fuller on both sides. The sheath is brown leather with iron fittings and has attached to it in a smaller sheath a small skinning knife with a staghorn handle.
L: 21 1/4 in., (45 cm.)
Condition: Very good overall with leather scabbard is slightly worn.
