AUCTION 43: ANTIQUE ARMS AND ARMOR

A Russian brass-mounted bebut dagger with a double-edged wide curved blade with a pointy tip and two narrow fullers on each side. The blade is marked ?????? on the ricasso. The hilt and scabbard are decorated with cloisonné enamel. The pommel is formed as a zoomorphic head.
Mid-20th century.
L: 26 in., (66 cm.)
Condition: Very god ovearll, the enamel shows very minor cracks. The blade is in good condition with very light signs of wear.
