AUCTION 43: ANTIQUE ARMS AND ARMOR
Lot 236:
Transcaucasian pistol (Georgian), overall length 16 inches. The stock is covered in black shagreen leather, the barrel is smooth, cal.15 mm., and it is decorated with engraving for three-quarters of its length and at the tip. The butt is terminated with a carved ball with a loose suspension ring. The barrel is attached to the stock with two silver bands. The breech is marked by the gunsmith. The lock has the maker’s stamp.
Late 19th century.

Condition: Good with excpected sighns of wear.
