AUCTION 43: ANTIQUE ARMS AND ARMOR
Lot 240:
A traditional Turkish gun, distinguished by a miquelet lock, a hexagonal butt, a "ball" trigger without a trigger guard, and a long barrel held by four silver bands. The stock is richly decorated with silver inlay and has two gold-inlaid gunsmith marks on the breech. The lock is engraved and decorated with silver inlay.
