AUCTION 43: ANTIQUE ARMS AND ARMOR

A fine pair of late 18th-century Ottoman flintlock pistols with round flat bore barrels decorated with engraving at the breech, low-grade silver chased furniture and carved walnut stocks. The handles feature metal plates for the owner’s initials surmounted by a crown.
Ca. 1780.
L: 19 3/4 in., (50 cm.)
Condition: Mechaniacally sound. All parts are tight. The stocks are in near mint condition.
