A katar dagger with a steel characteristic form hilt, the blade is double-edged, decorated in the center with a stylized cypress tree, and has a reinforced tip. The wooden scabbard is covered with purple velvet.
India, ca. 1880.
L: 19 in., (48.3 cm.)
Condition: Very good, scabbard shows signs of wear.
