AUCTION 43: ANTIQUE ARMS AND ARMOR
Lot 359:
A set of five bladed weapons and one spear head. Some of the weapons appear to be of Caribbean origin. The machete type weapon with a head sculpture on the pommel bears the inscription ‘Trinidad’ on its leather scabbard, while the blade itself was made in England. Three more of the weapons appear to be machetes, and the other has a blade reminiscent of a bowie knife but with an unusual handle.
