Alexis Paul Arapoff (Russian, 1904 — 1948), oil on canvas painting, "Nude in front of the mirror." Signed and dated middle right "Arapoff 28." Housed in a carved wood and gesso frame with Millon auction house paper label on the verso.

Alexis Paul Arapoff was a White emigre Russian-born painter, first based in France in 1923, where he belonged to the Ecole de Paris, and later in Boston, Massachusetts, where he relocated in 1930.
28 3/4 x 21 3/8 in., (73.02 x 54.29 cm)
Condition: The canvas is strong and shows no signs of restoration under the UV light. Stains on the verso.
