Gouache on paper painting in the manner of Sergei Yurievich Sudeikin (1883 — 1946), Russian. The painting depicts a fantastic scene with Slavic decorative elements and a view of a building with domes. Unsigned, matted, housed in a gilded wooden frame. Presumably the first half of the 20th century.
Theater design for the "Golden Cock" play attributed to Sudeikin, confirmed by the previous owner, Douches Lviv. Dated approximately 1925, Paris.
